Product Features:
Using the ordinary adapters Canon EOS camera only works as center-weighted light metering regardless of whichever setting you choose. They also lack the Focus Confirmation function on all Canon EF auto-focus lenses which provides a viewfinder indicator and optional beep sound when you rotate the lens’ focussing ring up to the correct focus.

User Instruction: Please use the adapter in this way
To Mount: Mount the Lens onto the adapter then mount them onto the camera.
To Remove: Remove both lens / adapter together from the camera, press the lens lock and then remove the adapter from the lens simultaneously.
Which lenses won’t work?
Because the rear of some Leica R optical assemblies protrude deeply into the camera’s body, there are mirror clearance issues with some Leica R lenses when mounted onto Canon bodies. In September 2002 Douglas Herr noted the following:
Be careful not to use any R lenses which require extra mirror clearance, as the Canon mirror will hit the rear of the lens. These lenses include:
